OUR MISSION
Twenty six years ago, a member of our community lost her life to breast cancer leaving behind her husband, and two very young children. A group of her friends, grieving from the loss, decided to form a committee of women, who were dedicated to raising funds for breast cancer research forming A Cure in Our Lifetime. CIOL has expanded over the past two decades to include and embrace many generations of women committed to finding a cure for a disease that affects our friends, sisters, mothers, and others close to our hearts. We are extremely proud and appreciative of our community’s efforts and support. Since 1998, we have raised over $5,000,000 in the fight against Breast Cancer. Our organization’s mission is to fund innovative breast cancer research and to promote breast health through education and outreach.
